Google has presented Android - a open license, mobile operation system or even more then OS - Android will provide operating system, middleware and key mobile fone applications.
So there are new player in competition, mobile platforms such as Windows Mobile and Symbian are under attack.
First advanatage of Android is that this platform in under GUI licence, so it is free - anny mobile fone producer may set up on his devices this OS for free.
Next Advantage is that Android is based on Linux 2.6 with implemented Java virtual machine, a Web browser, SQL database, and full application access to device hardware. Moreover, there is Android Software Development Kit (SDK) available, anyone who is interesting in developing software now may do this.
