BlackBery Bold, also known as a 9000, is a combination of GPS, WiFi and 3G phone in a classic BlackBerry design. This mobile will be launched on Q3 2008, and the pricing is expected in the $300 to $400 range.
Bold will be first RIM device with a half-VGA (480 x 320 pixel) display with 65,000 colors. This smartphone runs BlackBerry OS 4.6, and will be powered by 624MHz Intel PXA270 processor.
It will be also equipped with 128 MB Flash memory, 1 GB storage memory, and microSD/SDHC memory card slot, supports up to 16GB cards.
As a high performance device, this mobile has got 2MP camera with flash and 5x digital zoom for photos, GPS for navigation and GPRS + EDGE + HSDPA + WiFi for data transmission.
MOreover, supports, Bluetooth, JAVA, 3.5mm headphone jack, web browser, document editor, audio and video formats like MP3, WMA, AAC, DivX4, and WMV3.
This weighing 133 grams and 114 x 66 x 13mm in size phone will be sold with 1500 mAh battery.
