Sony is going to launch Playstation Portable Phone. This device will be a PSP with mobile phone features, and mobile connectivity.
The current Sony’s gaming handheld may be used as a VioP phone via Wi-Fi, but it is unable to use cellular networks.
Playstation Phone is developed by Sony alone - without Ericsson partnership, because Sony has learned from it’s error of giving Walkman brand to Sony Ericsson venture.
This device will be released on Christmas 2009.

Openness become the most important factor in the mobile devices market. Few month after Android presentation - new powered by Google OS for smartphones, is the best time for competitors move.
First answer is from the biggest mobile phone manufacturer - Nokia, and Symbian - Nokia’s operating system. Finland based mobile phone supplier is going to make the Symbian mobile OS an open platform.
Nokia will establish a foundation to make the software free. Symbian Foundation are also participated by Sony Ericsson, Motorola Inc and NTT DoCoMo.
This venture is also a big problem for Microsoft, because Microsof Mobile has relatively high license fees, and Google and Nokia will provide full-featured mobile operating systems for free.

Nokia E71, the successor of the E61i, is another step to BlacBery dominated niche, and it is an answer to the BlackBery Bold device.
As all E series, this mobile is equipped with full qwerty keyboard and half VGA, 2.4″ display (480×320).
Nokia E71 is powered by TI OMAP 2420 with 369 MHz ARM11 Freescale processor and 128 MB of RAM and 128 MB of internal storage.
This HSDPA smatphone supports such technologies like WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Infrared and microUSB.
Also it is equipped with 3.2 megapixel camera, and 1,500 mAh lithium-polymer batery. This phone operates under Symbian OS v9.2.
It’s expected to be released on third quarter of 2008.

Reuters reported that the best selling cell phone is Nokia 1100 mobile.
This released in 2003, cheap, basics and low end mobile device was sold int the number of 200 million pieces. It means that each week being sold about 1 milion Nokia 1100 mobile.
This cell phone is probably top selling electronic device in the history, in comparison, other devices like 115 million of the Sony PlayStation2, Apple iPod with sale of 100 million and 126 million of previously Nokia’s 3310/3330, can’t compare with 1100.

The most impressive game for iPhone is Krull by Digital Legends Entertainment.
This action-adventure game uses Opengl to display advanced 3D graphics and touch screen to control.
Sega presents Super Monkey Ball to iPhone - 3D arcade game for Apple’s device.
AP and Loopt use iPhone’s as a location device, thanks to cell tower triangulation.
Enigmo a puzzle game and Cro-Mag rally are 3D games developed by Pangea Software.
Other applcation presented at conference was Auctions for eBay, Cow Music, Major League Baseball stats, an application for accessing AP news, and medical applications.
