Google Base is a hybrid online database - something like community bulletin board mixed with comparison shopping site. To let large merchants listing products and providing a way to price comparison, Google has launched system called Frogle. The Froogle listing process was an ancestor of Google Base, which lets anyone, in simple way, to post any type of content and compete with millions of others sites for potential customer views.
By listing any product in Google Base you start the competition with many others sellers. There are two easy ways to list products in Google Base, manually using the web based form and a bulk method using XML. If you are going to sell using Google Checkout, notice that Google Base listing will appear more evidently in the products results.
Google Base is free, may increase the purchase rate, and all you need to use it, is a bit of time.
