Martinique, an overseas department of France, is an island located in the eastern Caribbean Sea, the north of Trinidad and Tobago and is a part of the French West Indies.
Martinique is very attractive place for tourists, in the south part of the island there are located beautiful beaches. In the north part of island there are the rain forests and beaches with black volcanic sand.
Tourist seasons on Martinique is from December to April, but the best time to visit island is May and June because the prices are lower, there are not many tourists and humidity is low.
The climate of Martiniqe is tropical with a temperature from 75 degrees Fahrenheit to 85 degrees. The rainy season is June to October and island is regularly visited by tropical cyclones.
Martinique has a fantastic, and unique amongst Caribbean Islands, blend of French and Creole cuisine. Moreover island a good place for many activities is such as Canyoning.
