WiMAX mobile is known as a 802.16 and it is used for two purpose - mobile and fixed location. In the nearest future Mobile WiMAX will be able to compete with the mobile 3G networks.
WiMax wireless networks is able to transmit data over a big area up to five megabits per second. Mobile WiMax technology can handle ultra-fast data transmission needed for video conferencing or TV viewing.
One of the first mobile phones supported WiMAX is LG Wimax KC1 PDA Cell Phone. Oter interesting mobile phone is Motorola WiMAX CPEi 300, but the best known as a fantastic designed cell phone for WiMAX is Samsung SPH-P9000.
