A GSM/WIFI mobile sip phone is now available for your business options, so if you want to save money on your mobile telephone service you should use SIP WIFI mobile phone.
The number of VioP phones is growing. Most knowned is Aple iPhone (499$).
But there are cheeper mobiles, for example SVW903 (250$).
Stephen Technologies SVW903 mobile phone is GSM and Wireless-LAN SIP 2.0(RFC3261) supported.
The phone can support 4 bands for GSM/GPRS. Users can access their VoIP calls by WIFI network connection. With almostly all the features of a regular mobile, the SVW903 can be very nice for users access their regular calls and VoIP calls.

When choosing a VOIP provider, keep in mind the protocol they use. SIP seems to be the emerging standard. It offers easy connection routes between different VOIP providers.
H.323 and IAX protocols are sometimes offered in addition to SIP. Scype, popular for PC-to-PC VoIP systems, uses a proprietary protocol, so it is not easy to connect to the Skype network from another VioP provider.
