Chinese mobile phones manufacturer - Winstron has presented new mobile phone dedicated for Android Platform.
Winstron GW4 is a first, officially presented Android phone. This low end device is equipped with TI OMAP 1710 chipset, 216-MHz processor and 64 MB of program memory. It just enough to run Android.
This “blackbery like” smartphone has 2.5-inch, 320×240 touch screen and 2-megapixel camera. To communicate Winstron GW4 use such technology like GSM, GPRS (without EDGE) and 802.11g Wi-Fi.
Winstron GW4 is not only GSM mobile, but also VIOP mobile - with built-in SIP VOIP client you may use this phone for Internet calling.
Winstron GW4 wouldn’t be the best or even good Android phone, but it is really interesting that first Android phone is made and designed in China.
